Marian Faithful是我的偶像，早先唱甜美的民谣，后来吸毒搞坏了嗓子，嗓音变得粗糙忧伤，反而摄人。

A Soldier's Wife，Boulavard of Broken Dreams，都是有电影画面的歌，一层层的情感，很少有歌手能同时表现。小些时候，几乎完全熟记，颇觉得荡气回肠。

但是现在回头听她翻唱那些甜美歌谣，感觉却更好。如此单纯强烈的欣喜和期盼，被一个几乎被毁掉的女人唱出来，原来比那些感伤的曲子要充满力量。
